Honest is kind. The kindest thing you can be is honest, with care. Say the real thing: privately, specifically, because you care. erl is designed for that kind of honesty, not for performing.

Real photos. No filters, no polish, no AI. What it actually looked like, from the people who were actually there.

No scoreboard. No like counts, not even for you. There’s nothing to perform for, so you can just share.

No algorithm. Photos and thoughts from the people you follow, newest first. When you’re up to date, we tell you, and you can put your phone down.

Real life first. Plan the dinner, the walk, the party. While you’re there, erl becomes a disposable camera: phones down, photos after. Then everyone’s photos from the day are kept together.

Fifteen years ago we ate whatever gave us the quickest hit. Now we know what’s good for us takes a bit more and gives back far more. Phones are next. erl is for people who are already there.
